Mining Truck 2: Trolley Transport is all about getting the goods from point A to point B. There are a lot of obstacles between those two points, however, and trekking across cliffs, shaky bridges, switchable tracks, and rocky terrain is easier said than done. Using a little physics know-how, you can charge through the game’s levels without too much trouble. But earning all three stars and getting the bonus treasure in each mine is another story! Check out our collection of tips to hone your transporting skills early on, then follow the walkthrough below to perfect your score!

General Tricks

• It’s almost always better to tap the arrow keys to start moving from a still position. Otherwise, you risk losing cargo or damaging your connection hitches.
• To get some of the speed goal stars, press the D key to drop your trailers early in the level. You move much faster when unencumbered.
• Rounding sharp hills is tough, especially when you’ve got delicate cargo. Take it slow, and keep an eye on your carts, not your driver. When the last cart rounds the top, increase your speed a bit to keep the cargo secure.
• Transporting oil is difficult. Keep your speed agonizingly slow, and don’t start or stop moving suddenly for anything.
• The crane that unloads your cargo is about as smart as the cargo it’s unloading. Position yourself directly underneath the loading bay before hitting the spacebar, otherwise the crane might drop some cargo and waste precious time.
• If you have more than one cart and are carrying only one cart’s worth of cargo, try unloading it in the rearmost cart. This keeps your weight more even and prevents things from smacking you in the head.
• Remember you can (and should) drive backwards!
• The arrow signs near switch bridges direct you to the path that leads to the end crane. Follow them if you’re looking for a quick exit.

Upgrade Garage

• You can upgrade four things in the garage: wheels, trailers, connection hitches, and the trolley itself. Connection hitches are the most important, so spend your coins here before anything else.
• Some levels won’t be available until you buy the right upgrades. You’ll need at least a wooden trailer to play levels three and five, for example, so make these your next highest priority.
• Trolley upgrades make your vehicle faster. It’s best to save these for last, when you’ve got a good handle on the game’s mechanics.
• Wheel upgrades are purely visual, so save your coins for this one.

Mine 1
An easy start, you’ve got three goals to aim for in this straightforward course. You can’t do them all in one run, so pick one at a time and give it your best shot!

Finishing in under 60 seconds
Head in for a quick no-cargo run. Book it to the right and you can make it to the goal no problem.

Collect 25 coins
Make sure you reach the goal with the barrel and crate intact. Load them and you’ll earn 25 coins!

Crash the trolley
This one’s the most entertaining. A good way to earn a spectacular crash is to drive over the shaky bridges and wait for them to collapse. You’ll fall to the bottom and earn the star, no problem!

Treasure
The chest is about two thirds of the way through the level, hanging from above. If you’ve got cargo, try dropping it between the trailer and your truck, right on the hitch. It should stay through to the exit.

Mine 2
Still pretty simple in design, this level features two forking paths, each with its own set of cargo to carry.

Deliver two barrels
Take the low road at the first fork and you’ll find a barrel sitting in the ceiling above. The second barrel is on the high road being held next to a box by a crane.

Unload two boxes at once
Carry the two crates from the beginning to the crane at the end. Position them between the blue dotted lines, make sure you’re perfectly still, and hope for the best!

Destroy construction
Crash into the signpost at the end of the level, just to the right of the finishing platform.

Treasure
Sitting above you about a third through the course will be the chest.

Mine 3
This fairly low-impact level is marked by two areas where the path diverges. The high road or the low road, it’s your choice!

Don’t lose the trailer
Make it to the end without losing a trailer.

Deliver two boxes
Take the high road at the first fork and you’ll find the boxes sitting above. Drop them on your trailer and head to the exit.

Collect 70 coins in one run
Grab the two horizontal pieces of wood at the beginning, then take the lower path at the first fork in the road. You’ll nab two steel barrels. Deliver them both to the goal and you’ll earn 70 coins.

Treasure
Take the lower trail and stop where the ceiling recesses just past the steel barrels. Press the spacebar and the chest will fall. You’ll get the old helmet, which protects the driver from minor bumps on the noggin.

Mine 4
One of the first levels with a “trick” to it, the fourth mine features multiple paths and a conveyor belt in the middle of the stage. The last stretch is a bit of a doozy, too, as you have to take one path to get to the crane and another to finish the level!

Deliver four units of cargo
Load up the first two pieces of cargo, then take the high road the first chance you get. Grab these two items, back up, and drive the low road. Follow the arrows at the switches to reach the crane.

Finish level in under 40 seconds
Zoom zoom! Take the first low path, then follow the high road to reach the goal.

Don’t destroy constructions
Stay clear of the destructible bits of environment, usually marked by small signs.

Treasure
The most reliable way to get this is to load all four early pieces of cargo, then trek to the crane in the middle of the level. Send both barrels and both crates up top and the chest will be knocked down. Make sure you catch it!

Mine 5
Another level with multiple forked paths to navigate, the trickiest thing about this one is locating and grabbing the walled-in treasure chest.

Deliver the goods in under 80 seconds
Very straightforward. Load up in the beginning, follow the arrows at the switch bridges, and you’ll do just fine!

Deliver two bags
At the very last switchable bridge, take the low road and drive to the destruction sign. Hit the spacebar to drop the bags in your cart, then reverse out, take the high road, and deliver them.

Finish the level in less than 40 seconds
Charge through, plain and simple.

Treasure
Load up at the beginning, then cross both shaky bridge structures. When you’re on the right side of the second one, slowly back up over it and hit the spacebar. The bridge will collapse, allowing you to enter the tunnel below. Carefully back into the tunnel and you’ll find the chest at the end.

Mine 6
Aah, profitable minerals! This is your first level with the mineral cart, allowing you to carry purple mineral rocks to the vacuum tube at the end. There are also a number of branching paths with switch levers, so keep your speed to a minimum or risk losing cargo.

Deliver all minerals
A tough one, given that small minerals are prone to flying around at the slightest bump. Take things slow and you should be fine.

Deliver goods in less than 60 seconds
A quick, minimally-carted dash will grab you this star without a problem.

Finish in 60 seconds without losing a trailer
Keep your speed high, but avoid rough terrain. Stick to the high road to minimize damage, and make sure you’ve upgraded your cart connections in the garage.

Treasure
Take the high road followed by a middle road and you’ll see the treasure chest in the ceiling above. Don’t carry it in your minerals cart, as it’s tough to get out with the crane at the end of the level.

Mine 7
Ooh, dual mineral carts! This one starts off with a load of stones dropping right above you, followed by a few split paths ahead.

Deliver six bags
The bags are hanging throughout the level, with three near the stage’s center and two towards the end. Take the middle path for the first bag, then drive to the next movable platform, lower it, and backtrack for two more bags. Stay in the middle and you’ll find the final two bags nearly at the end.

Deliver the goods in less than 50 seconds
Stay on the high road and don’t slow down!

Collect 80 coins in one run
Completing the stage with a full payload of minerals will get you more than halfway to the goal, but remember you can unload your carts and backtrack to get more loot. Take two carts of minerals to the end, then drive back and grab the bags before completing the stage.

Treasure
Drive forward with an empty cart and pass the first two switchable bridges, staying on the upper path. After you pass the second switch, flip it and go in reverse, driving on the highest platform you can. Back up to the far left side and you’ll see the chest trapped above.

Mine 8
Your very first oil level! Those little nuggets are volatile, so take it slow and make sure they don’t fly out and smack you in the head.

Deliver three boxes
Delivering the boxes is easy, it’s finding them that takes time. Take the lower path at first, avoiding the giant gap in the bridge, then stick to the upper path. Soon, you’ll come across a structure holding three wooden crates. Press the spacebar to drop them in your carts.

Finish in under 40 seconds
Not a tough one to accomplish, just avoid the lower path in the last half of the stage, as it leads to a big fat dead end.

Crash the trolley in less than 15 seconds
Here’s a fun one! Take the high path at the first fork and drive off the ledge. Don’t worry, you’ll be fine! Except… not.

Treasure
Take the lower path followed by the upper path, then pause by the third switch light. Sit just beyond it and point it up, then back up across the highest path. The treasure is at the end.

Mine 9
A short but potentially tricky mine filled with multiple paths and cargo hidden up high and down low. Take it slow!

Finish level in less than 50 seconds without losing a trailer
Not a big deal, just stay with the lower paths and watch for bridges that need to be raised in front of you.

Deliver three barrels
Two barrels are hidden on the lower path midway through the stage. You can’t miss them! The third, however, is a bit more difficult to obtain, and you may want to make two trips to get it. Stick to the high path for the first portion of the stage and eventually you’ll encounter a wobbly bridge. Press the spacebar to lower it, then drive along the top and you’ll see the steel barrel just at the top of the screen.

Deliver all of the oil
There’s only one oil station in this mine, but it’s at the beginning. Drive very slowly and stick to the lower paths for an easier ride.

Treasure
Stick to the bottom path and you’ll see the treasure buried in some dirt about midway through. Use the spacebar to dislodge it.

Mine 10
The last main stage is one of the longest and most conducive to slamming down the gas pedal.

Deliver the goods in under 60 seconds
The best way to get this one done is to take the high road and grab the wood blocks.

Finish the level in less than 40 seconds
A bit of a challenge, given the length of the stage. Drop your trolleys as early as you can and stick to the high road to shave off precious seconds.

Deliver two units of wood
There are two spots to get wood pieces: up high, and down low. Take the lower path for an easier ride.

Treasure
Stay on the high road and you’ll see the chest just above the bridge midway through the level.

Bonus Mine
Because AntKarlov loves us so much, here’s a bonus mine to play with! A few tricky hills and some backtracking set this one apart from the other ten mines.

Collect 40 coins in one run
Follow the arrows at each fork in the path and pick up one load of minerals. Between your cargo and the time you’ll have left, this one’s easy.

Deliver five units of minerals
There are minerals right at the start of the stage as well as a bundle midway through. Stick to the low path to reach the second batch, and when you see a place to reverse course and switch bridges to travel up top, do it!

Finish in under 55 seconds without losing a trailer
The low path is your friend, but watch your head on some of the tight jumps.

Treasure
The chest is hidden about a third of the way through the stage, but in order to get it, you’ll need to go beyond this point. Drive on the lower path until you reach an area where you can switch the bridges and reverse course to travel up top. Carefully back up to the end of the platform and you’ll see the chest above.
