Guinea pigs. In yellow jumpsuits. The not-so-nice Corporation is running some tests, and for those tests they’ll need helpless men to dash through 18 levels of platforms, lifts, saw blades and bottomless pits. They never stop moving, so you have to make sure everything is in the right place so they get from the entrance to the exit in one guinea pig piece. Running Men Tips and Tricks
- Not every platform has a use, some are red herrings. Trace a safe route from entrance to exit mentally, then try to arrange things to carve out a safe path.
- You can slowly move platforms while a man is on top of it. Don’t move suddenly, though, as they’ll fall straight through.
- Click red platforms just before the man steps onto it. It takes a second for the platform to appear, so think ahead.
- Whenever you raise a lift, if you can manage it, lower it right afterwards. That way, if you don’t make it to the exit, you won’t lose another man waiting on the lift to lower.
Running Men Walkthrough
Level 1
Drag the bottom platform to the center.
Level 2
Drag the two center platforms even with the outside platforms.
Level 3
Drag the left platform over to catch the man’s first fall, then move it right to catch him on the rebound. Switch to the right platform and do the same.
Level 4
Slide the lower platform over to catch the man’s jumps, then adjust the slanted platforms to guide him up to the exit.
Level 5
Slide the platform nearest the entrance all the way up. You won’t be needing it. Adjust the lower platforms to catch the man’s jump. Shift the rightmost platforms to be even with the door, but keep your cursor over the left one. You’ll need to lower it down to catch the running man, then raise it to bring him to door height.
Level 6
Nab the secret exit achievement by moving the closest platform left, the top right platform down, and lining the top three platforms with the solid ground. Afterwards, move the top left platform up and set the bottom left platforms to the bottom and top. Adjust the lower middle platform to bounce the running guy to the door.
Level 7
Drag the yellow platform down level and click the red platforms to create a walking space for the man.
Level 8
Move the yellow platforms towards the center of the screen, and press the red ones to keep the man afloat.
Level 9
Line everything up and time your clicks right on the red platforms!
Level 10
Move the yellow platform to the right and click the red ones just before the man steps foot on them.
Level 11
Move the yellow platform to bounce the man between the blades. Time your presses on the red platforms to create a path to the door.
Level 12
Tons of red platforms to extend in this blade-filled level. Click each one just before the man reaches it, otherwise he’ll fall straight through.
Level 13
Lifts move slowly in one direction when you click them. First, slide the top lift down. Then, when the man reaches the lower lift, raise it. Raise the upper lift when he’s safely aboard.
Level 14
Lower the lift, then start raising it when the saw blade is traveling to the right, just when it’s even with the upper platform.
Level 15
Move the yellow platform all the way down, then click the red platform just as the man is about to land. Raise the lift when he’s aboard, and cross using the red platform there. Immediately lower the lift, as the first guy you get to the exit will commit suicide.
Level 16
Raise the lifts even with the red platforms, and slide the small spring lift to the left. Time your clicks between the blades and you’ll reach the exit!
Level 17
Just like before, only now you have to catch the man with the red platforms.
Level 18
Slide the yellow platform almost all the way to the right. Send the lift down. Press the red platform at just the right time, then raise the lift to reach the exit.
